Post letter in export/customs scan since last Saturday?

I'm getting desperate to get this letter which - as far as I understand - might still be at Beijing airport, or least it hasn't yet been scanned on arrival in in the UK where it is going. It's not a package, just an envelope.

Should it have made it on to a plane by now?
Would the public holidays cause delays with any of this process?
Where exactly is it?

I know this may be still early days in relation to some of the other tales I've read here, but still, time is running out soon . . .

You need some more patient. The parcel was sent to China Post on Jan 26. Normally it needs about 4 weeks to arrive UK. Right now every status shows in your tracking results is very normal, you no need worry.
