Tracking number: RX802534075CN

I have been checking other people's tracking numbers and they all seem to say "sent to airline" shortly after "export customs cleared" (usually a day later). But my item has been stuck on "export customs cleared" for over 2 weeks. Another item that I ordered 3 days later was "sent to airline" 2 hours after "export customs cleared" and arrived 2 days ago.

I found a forum post from someone in October stuck on "export customs cleared". Their tracking number: RK834122610CN shows it never got past that stage, despite being over 3 months ago. I know mine has been less than 3 weeks but not being "sent to airline" in that time doesn't seem to be normal. Is my item lost in China?

Any status suggesting departure ("export customs cleared", "sent to airline", "export security scan", or even "leaving Beijing, going to next airport/seaport") followed by a long period of no updates, almost always means that your item has left China. Usually it does go in the order you suggested, but sometimes one of these scans gets missed. In itself, it's not a cause for concern.

It's also not unusual for items to arrive out of order, especially in the wake of the holiday shipping chaos of December. I would wait at least another week or two before I started getting concerned about your item.
