Shkxxtrs,
what a coincidence, I also have a parcel which was sent via China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus around the same time as yours (from China to PHL).
(I've already asked the same question in another thread and was advised here to wait 30-60 days to reach PH, since Ordinary Small Packet will *never* get any further tracking updates aside from the initial update showing it was received by China Post Office)
Anyway, I went to the Central Post Office to pick up some Registered Airmail parcels yesterday (July 28), and asked how long do 'untracked' Ordinary parcels arrive from China to the Phl. The reply from them was wait a month and then go to the Post Office to check manually (as there is no online tracking).
Since it was taking a long time queing up in the Parcels section for my Registered Airmail package, I asked how to check my Ordinary Small Packet Plus tracking number, and the staff pointed me to their list of printed reports for 'Ordinary' parcels -- which I have to go thru manually (so that's what they mean by 'manual tracking'...)
I started going thru their printed sheets (it lists date received(?), tracking number and name) , surprisingly noticed my name is already there -- so my parcel was ready for pickup. (Ordinary parcel was shipped on July 13-14 by seller; the printed report where I found my parcel tracking number and name was dated July 19. So it appears my parcel has arrived in the Phl already around July 19. I got my parcel yesterday (July 28) -- I did note that the parcel has a written marking dated July 27; so it's possible that the although the listing was July 19, the parcel was 'inventoried' only July 27 -- exactly the day before I went there, so it's quite a coincidence.
(Additional background story: I went to the Manila Central Post Office (July 28) to pick up 3 Registered Airmail parcels that online tracking showed has already 'Passed Customs Exam' and is already 'Enroute to delivery office', ie. our Central Post Office. The 3 Registered Airmails were (based on online tracking) showing 'Enroute to delivery office' on July 19, 23 and 24, respectively. After about 2 hours of waiting in the Post Office, the staff only found my package for the July 23 'Enroute to delivery office'. The other 2 parcels, they still haven't found -- they said that they're having a backlog [due to the bad weather here the past few days??], and they still have 8 sacks of parcels that they haven't finished making inventory. So it seems that even when item (Registered Airmail) is already in the Post Office (based on tracking online), the parcel may not be ready for releasing...)
Anyway, at least I got one of my Registered Airmail parcel, and unexpectedly also the Ordinary parcel which I had been wondering when it will arrive, since no further tracking updates online. (both Registered Airmail and Ordinary parcels need to pay the Post Office handling fee of Php112 each) Hoping this info may help.
(final note: it seemed my Ordinary Small Packet Plus arrived really quick [just around 2 weeks from shipping to pickup] from China to the Philippines, but according to the post office staff, mine was unexpectedly quick [just that we don't know it has already arrived and waiting for pickup], but around 30 days is standard waiting time... The post office say they'll send a notice to pickup, but based on my experience for registered packages, it takes about 1-2 weeks to get the notice after the 'Enroute to delivery office' tracking message )
