Parcels are sent in bulk to be shipped, if one package in the group has something prohibited then the whole shipment is sent back to sorting centre and the process repeats. I know it sucks waiting but my last parcel was sent back 4 or 5 times over 3 weeks before getting through, it just landed in my country today even though I ordered in October.

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows both parcels were sent to airline on Dec 3. They just passed safety scan but still waiting for flight to UK. After they got flight space, you will see next update in UK.

Yeah it's usually 2-4 week wait time for flight space after that scan, you won't see another update until it is processed in the UK and no one can say when it gets on a plane because they don't scan everything in between.

Thanks, can you guys explain why the status is changing back and forth from airline start shipping to airline receives it?

airline has no shipping space, then parcel was returned to china post, then china post send it to another airline and then no shipping space again. back and forth for a couple of times until parcel finally gets airline space.
