Hi,

I've been trying to track my item LX124484059CN, and it doesn't seem to have moved since 26/11 - can anyone provide more info?

Package is coming from China to Brisbane.

Despatched Processed through facility 8:36pm Sat 26 Nov NINGBO EMS

In transit Received by overseas carrier 5:21pm Sat 26 Nov CN-315033, CHINA

2. Your parcel is On Route/In Transit to your country Australia. Now it's up to Australia Post to scan your parcel on arrival or when they have time to do it.

3. It's the Holiday Season so mail every where is slow. Just continue to track your parcel on the Australia Post site for any movement.

Are you able to tell if it was sent by air? 22 days seems an awfully long time for a package to be in transit.

1. Yes by Air Mail and it's E packet type mail which mean it has some priority. This also might happen to your parcel:
Multi-hop routing:
Routing is a whole separate matter, but suffice it to say that “lowest cost” tends to win out over “fastest speed”. Mail shipments may transit many countries enroute to their destination.

2. Plus don't forget at your end that Australia Post need to scan the parcel. They must be busy just like the rest of all Post Office in the World.

Ok - thanks for the info, and your really fast responses!

Australia Post indicates that it definitely hasn't arrived in Australia, and that it looks to be in China still. Normally once something arrives in Australia it only takes a couple of days to arrive by normal mail.

Is there any way to contact the original receiving office (Ningbo) to check what's happening? There's nothing in the tracking that indicates it actually made it to an airport.

1. Let's try this again, you can phone China Post EMS in China the number is: 11183.

2. I try to explain to you, if Australia Post does not scan your parcel you will not have any tracking at all. It does not mean the parcel has not arrive in Australia, it could be there but Australia Post are to busy right now and they did not have time to scan your parcel.

3. It could also be that the parcel is still moving to Australian and did not get there so far. A Human must scan the parcel to have a tracking info.

4. Right now it's the Holiday Season all over the World so mail is slow.

5. Sorry for the long explanation but it's not only China Post involve in your parcel it's also Australia Post.

Same thing has happened to me. Mine is an eparcel from China to Australia, and it hasn't updated since in China on the 24/11/16. Australia post and customs both say they havnt received it. The sender refuses to lodge an inquiry with the Chinese post office. I'm lost at what to do. Mine was ordered on 20/11/16 with 13-20 days delivery time. Can't figure out how I contact China post myself though. Seems like I'm stuck

My purchase was through Ebay, so I sent a request to the seller asking them to go back to the receiving office in Ningbo - they indicated they would so we'll wait and see I guess.

The onus is really on the seller to do all they can - if need be send another item- at some stage if there's no suitable action I'm just going to put in a dispute with Ebay / PayPal and let them sort it out.
