Can you please advise where in the world my shipment is, its nearly been a month since it was shipped out. Tracking says: Departed Beijing 15 Oct 2013 and hasnt been updated since.

Only two weeks passed since Oct 15. It is normal to wait 2 or 3 weeks to get airline space in rush season.

Yes, i know that.. the item was collected from the shipper on the 10th of October..
and the tracking details havent beed updated since 15th of October.

and why does it say "Departed" if its waiting it get shipped??

"Departed" means parcel has been sent to airline.In normal season, the parcel will get airline space within 2 or 3 days and actually departs from airport. However, right now is rush season, there are too many parcels and too few airline space to Australia,so waiting time is much longer. In addition, Airlines do NOT serve based on first-come-first-out rule. Sometimes later-come parcels might be shipped much earlier than first-come parcels. It all depends on your luck.

Have you received your parcel yet? Mine supposedly departed the same day but is still sitting in china waiting for space

Carl. I'll think u will find that they attempted delivery on the 30/8 in NZ and now looks like they have returned it to china
