Post Lost parcel, please help!

Hello,
I had an item posted to me (Tasmania, Australia) from China in July. However the item never arrived. When I track the parcel (RI098079121CN) on the China Post website, the last information states the status is NULL & the location is CAN. What does this mean?

I have called both Australia Post & customs, & they have told me that my parcel had been scanned to arrive in the shipment from China, but it doesn't necessarily mean the parcel was in it, so it may never have even arrived in my country.

Is there anyone out there who can help me? I have asked the seller to open an investigation with China Post but this could take a long time, & I need this parcel ASAP for a trip I'm going on :(

Any information would be much appreciated.

you tracked in wrong website. http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows the parcel was sent to airline from Guangzhou to Australia on Aug 10. It should have arrived Australia Customs long time ago.

As the status not changing for so long time, i think it has some problem in customs. You'd better open dispute and claim refund asap.

It never arrived in Australia that's what I'm trying to say. I have used the internal tracking & that scan is an AUTOMATIC scan. Meaning the big shipment from China arrived in Australia but my parcel wasn't in it. But because it was due to be in that shipment, it said it's here, when it's not. I have disputed it with customs & frankly I'd like some help. I am getting annoyed because my parcel is still sitting in China & it's going to take weeks for anyone to even look into it.
