Hi. I've ordered something from eBay being sold by a Chinese seller. The date stated for its estimated arrival time is between November 14 to 21st December.

Tracking no. given to me: 86033627932

I have checked the tracking number on here (http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php) and it shows that, on Nov. 1, a final update (as of posting this) saying the package has left somewhere via Airmail.

Is this a legitimate tracking no. and has the package actually been sent? I assume, by it working on the tracker, that it is likely real but the whereabouts of the package is a mystery.

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows 86033627932 was shipped on Oct 31. it is real number.

this kind of 11 digit number is china post ordinary parcel. This is a slow and cheap service for low value item. China Post will not scan and update its status after it left first post office. so you can not see new status and know where it is now. china post ordinary parcel might take 4 to 12 weeks to reach your country.
