Post epacket tooks so long

hi..
i am new to china post.
so, i bought an item from china, they said they use epacket to send it to me and i will receive it in 3-8 days.
i bought it on 28th july.
the tracking number is LX963654635CN but yet i have not receive anything and the tracking update from EMS stuck on 7th of august saying "dispatch from sorting area".
i checked the tracking update on auspost, the weird thing is, it said the packet from Ascension Island which is very strange because it is supposed to be from china.

can anyone please help me? thank you

1. You should tack your parcel here:

2. Your parcel was mail only on the 06 Aug, and normally E Packet take 6 to 12 working days to be deliver.

3. What you have seen on EMS site is possibly this:
2016-08-07 12:38 Beijing, from Beijing to Sydney

4. About the parcel going to Ascension Island I have no idea why except that it might be a transit point for the parcel.

thanks a lot for your reply,
that means the seller have been talk bull shit by saying he had sent it and only will take 3 days for me to receive it in australia.
do you know how long usually it takes for epacket from china to sydney australia?

2. Precisely the answer is no, but technically E Packet was created by United State Postal Service (USPS) and every Country that offer the service are suppose to deliver the goods in a time frame of 6 to 12 working days.

3. You will understand that the time that the parcel is spending at the Customs Office of any country in the World will not count in the 6 to 12 working days delivery.
