You may check the status of your parcels on the POS Malaysia website http://pos.com.my/postal-services/quick-access?track-trace.
Most recently, POS Malaysia has offices at the Shanghai and Guangzhou airports. So, once they received the shipment, you'll find the status updated to Item posted over the counter . Once the shipment has left China, the status will change to Item dispatched out MPC PMIH (KLIA).
From my own experiences, shipments from the Shanghai airport normally takes 3-4 days to arrive at KLIA. Normally the shipment will be dispatched out to PUSAT MEL NASIONAL on the same day before it was dispatched out to the local post office (CW) the very next day. So, you'll be able to receive the shipment 2 days after it arrives at KLIA. However, shipments from the Guangzhou airport, takes much-much longer to arrive. I have shipments which were dispatched out to KLIA from the Guangzhou airport since 27 November 2016 and are still in transit.
One important note here. POS Malaysia will not be able to scan parcels which have not arrived and those which are still in transit. So, unless and if the parcels have arrived, then only they will be able to scan it. In regard to responsibility, these shipments are China Post's responsibility until after it arrives at the destination country i.e. Malaysia. Then only POS Malaysia will take over the responsibility to deliver the said items to the intended recipients.
So, hopefully those that gives information here stated it correctly. Please do not point fingers to other countries postal systems while the inefficiency is a result of some others.
