My friend sent me a package on November 24th 2014 from China and it still has not arrived. The tracking number is CP298624768CN . When I check status reads "On Route". Why is there a delay?

CP298624768CN is surface parcel which goes through sea and truck. it is very very very slow. http://suivichineposter.com/result_china.php shows it is still in hong kong port waiting for next ship.

But I was told that it would take three months, it's been four months already. And when my friend sent me a parcel two years ago from China, it arrived in less than three months. How is it that my parcel is waiting for the next ship since December?!

surface parcel arrival time can range from 2 months to 6 months. it does not have any schedule or ship/truck plan, in other words , it can not be predictable.
