My parcel is RC356852753CN

On Indian postal website it shows "Not Available"
http://services.ptcmysore.gov.in/Speednettracking/Track.aspx?articlenumber=RC356852753CN

On IPS Web Tracking it shows that the packet left Beijing For Kolkata Airport but nothing after that

Who should I contact to find out about current location of my parcel and how soon it will reach me?

many parcel to Kolkata airport are lost during recent months. we don't know what is wrong with that airport. you'd better open a dispute to paypal or aliexpress and let seller stand the loss for you.

Is it definitely lost or should I first contact the kolkata customs to see if they can help before opening the dispute on aliexpress.

you can check this forum that many people did contact Kalkata customs and get nothing. you can try your luck and contact them, if can not get item delivery information, then open a dispute to aliexpress.

I have opened a dispute on Aliexpress, but still the supplier says that the package will reach and I should wait some more. Should I wait, or escalate the dispute?

Try contacting 1800-11-2011 this is Indian post international toll free number..,

Even i have the same problem with parcels : RC581881496CN , RC581881505CN.
I contacted the above given number they told me to wait for still 6-7 days.,

I hope this might work for you., GOOD LUCK.

I wrote an Email to the id given on this page of the Kolkata Customs on 24th April-

But have not got any replies so far.

I also called the Toll free number of the indian post - 1800112011 and told them the tracking id. They told me that the kolkata customs has not updated the online tracking information of these packages due to some reason. And that I should issue a complaint on the http://indiapost.gov.in/ -> Customer Care -> Complaint Registration and then it becomes the post's and custom's responsibility to track the order and deliver it. I've submitted the complaint on http://ccc.cept.gov.in/PCData.aspx
Let's see what happens!

This was the response by India Post-
"ARTICLE U/R IS NOT TRACEABLE TO BE RECEIVED IN INDIA. ADDRESSEE MAY ASKED THE SENDER TO SEND A CN08/PRIME ENQUIRY THROUGH POSTAL ADMINISTRATION OF CHINA SO THAT WE CAN TRACE OUT THE RL AT OUR NETWORK"

I've told the supplier to send the 'CN08/PRIME ENQUIRY' through the China Post.

I've had to re-order these products as the supplier rejected my dispute and then refused to reply after I had opened the dispute.
I requested the supplier to send the 'CN08/PRIME ENQUIRY' but that still didn't get a response from them.
I escalated the dispute a few days before the purchase protection ended, but there wasn't any response on that front either (from supplier or aliexpress) and the purchase protection wasn't extended by the supplier this time (like he kept doing for this order before I had put in the dispute). The complaint center of aliexpress still says "Processing".
I guess I'll have to bear this $52 loss.

Only for kolkata city users--------

Contact foreign post office in dalhousie, near high court.

they have a customs department there , i have gone to that building , they check the items and then they send that to india post office.

But they always ask some money for that.....you know how customs department in india works.

Contact them you will surely get the parcel faster.

Go to dalhousie ask anybody high court then ask for foreign post office , go to first floor of the building.

Sometimes you might get wrong no or something do not worry try for sometime you will get it.

Ask them by giving your tracking no , they will help you to sort out status of your parcel, but still they also sometimes neglect the phone calls , then go to the dalhousie office you will get your parcel for sure.

The ground floor of the bulding is storehouse of all parcels coming from abroad countries.
