Do you have any idea if tracking no starts with RC then it is envelope type and if RD or something else then it is parcel type.........................

actually in foreign post office in dalhousie, near high court they told me this information.

My tracking no is this:

RC916388684CN

so is it parcel or envelope type ?

RC ,RD are same kind of service(regular register airmail). No difference.

Given a fake tracking no it was cp276255258cn
Was it real because I did not receive my parcel

if the parcel was really shipped, http://track-chinapost.com/ will show location and status info within 48 hrs. so you can verify the tracking number by yourself.
