Good morning,
I should send a package to China: it is a package with a weight around 1 kg, I have to send it to Shanghai and I would like an advice: better to use couriers
such as DHL, FedEx or UPS? Because from Italy it is very expensive… My mail (Italian Post) told me that the package would be traceable to the border but then? What happens would no longer be visible on the China Post website? I would like a suggestion as it is the first time I send a parcel to China, for example all parcels in Italy
like DHL, FedEx etc that arrives from China are blocked by customs and I do not want this to happen because it is a gift for a Chinese friend, thanks for your
information and suggestions,

if item is expensive and important, you should use courier such as DHL/Fedex/UPS. These courier will make phone call before delivery which is much more reliable in country like China where many many places have no accurate official address(therefore not deliverable by China Post ).

If item is not that important and expensive, you can use Italy Post register mail which will be delivered by China Post. There might be some risk not be deliverable and returned to Italy(about 5% rate). The service should be much cheaper than DHL/Fedex/UPS(based my estimate).
