My parcel still not arrived after8 weeks can not find an email address to contact China ems please help

Not received my parcel from China ems since September Royal Mail said been delivered but I haven't received it please help

Everyone, I have some relieving news. I just got called by EMS and they said to me that all parcels going to the Netherlands are not yet sent. It is already sent today this morning and will be expected to arrive tomorrow in Amsterdam!

Update 25 october 2016: It is still not sent

To be honest, they didnt contact me, but one of my relatives in China.

Besides, I contacted the EMS Wechat Customers Service. Since the Wechat service can do an "investigation" for you, you can expect better answers (I guess) than the normal hotline service(+86 11183). After explaining my situation they said to me, that they'll contact me within 3 business days, but this service is only available for domestic customers, so I provided the number of one of my relatives. Just after one day, they said that all parcels going to the Netherlands are not yet sent. Hopefully they're speaking the truth.

Well guys, looks like ive just encountered the "Chinese way" of doing business.

After my last post, I found it quite odd to hear that no packages were sent to the NL. How is it possible. Till today, last track is "Departed from Export Office - BEIJING". Dont tell me after 10 working days and 14days that there were no flights going to the NL.

As I said, after my last post, I wasnt standing still. I contacted the EMS support on WeChat again. For the second time, they told me to wait for the result of their "investigation". And guess what, the person who contacted my relative in China, told me to wait. He also didnt know what is going wrong.

I wasnt satisfied. I contacted the support again and waited patiently for an another answer. This time, he said to my cousin not to contact the customer service anymore and told him to wait for one week for the results and then he suddenly cut off the phone. My mind was blown.

But suddenly, today, someone from EMS called my cousin again (I guess the supervisor?). This time he told us that if the package wont arrive by 30th october, he will compensate me 3 times the postage fee.

Well to me, that means the package is lost and not in their hands. Quite funny how they are dealing with someone's properties.

Moral of the story, keep annoying the customers service, then you will get your answer, instead of waiting for 2 months and then realizing your package just got lost.

Hey, I don't think your package is lost.

Happens every year around the same holidays. Pisses me off every time..

No planes left China on Oct 1-7 due to holidays. Packages pile up, and when it all starts again on October 8, they don't use additional flights to catch up. As a result, enormous delays.

By the way, there's no flights going directly to seperate European countries. If I recall correctly, they end up in a sorting terminal in Germany, and from there get sent to seperate countries.

I'm in the same position. Not Netherlands but Sweden. Same type of tracking number, starting with EA. Mine "departed" Oct 12. I believe at least all of Northern Europe is affected. Watch out for the Chinese New Year, it's the same story around that time.

Hey there John,

Thanks for sharing your relieving story. I was indeed already informed about how busy it can get in China. I was more pissed off about the attitude of China Post EMS and the lack of information thats provided about our statuses of our precious parcels.

Anyway, so far as I know is, parcels that goes to the Netherlands will first land in England and then transit to its destination. It will first get a new Dutch track code and will then be sent to the customs, which can take max 7 business days (usually 2-3). After being released by the customs, it will take an another 3 business days to get it delivered, so there's still a long way to go through *sigh*.

Hopefully you're right. I already lost my hope, but after reading your experience, I feel much better now.

Thanks again and lets hope we'll get our parcel soon!

FYI: I have a friend in the UK who had an EMS package departed Oct 20th in China and he recieved it yesterday.

I am from Holland and I am experiencing the same problem.
My package also 'left' China on 17 october. (LX986373077CN)
