Hi,

I have sent back a defective product to China om the 18th of November. I followed all instructions that where givven to me.

The last status update of the parcel was:
2018-12-06 08:46:18 leave [ Guangzhou Terminal ], next stop [Guangzhou International Mail Processing Center].

I have checked with the recipient yesterday and the package is not yet arrived. Should I call China Post myself or is this 'normal' and should I wait for another week?

CC066741657NL arrived China Post parcel processing center (广州国际邮件处理中心) on Dec 6. No further information after Dec 6. It should have some delivery problem.

Please ask receiver call China Post hotline 11185 and try to pickup the parcel. if 11185 can not find the parcel, you need contact netherlands Post to file an official investigation with China Post and try to claim compensation if the parcel is confirmed to be lost.

The story continues. After many, many e-mail conversations with the receiver I finally called China Post myself. They could not trace the package themselfs and said I should ask the receiver to contact China Post. In the last e-mail the receiver said that they have been to the post office and that the package was not there. I also searched the Internet on similar stories about packages lost or returning to sender. Very sad :(
I also contacted PostNL in the Netherlands and they started an investigation to trace the package. They told me that after a month the package will be returned to the sender. I am at a point that I think this would be the best outcome for this moment. If I know more I will post it here.
