Post Some questions about my package

Hi,

Glad to have found this site. Thanks for making it!

My package is http://www.track-chinapost.com/track.php?code=&fc=0

My questions are:

Is this an e-Packet? Or is it an Express? I am trying to figure out which way the person sent it so i can figure out how long it should take to get here. From what I understand, this can be figured out by the tracking number. China Post seems to have different levels of package speed..e-packet..express..etc..can you tell which one this is?

Also, my package was mailed on the 25th. The last tracking update was also on the 25th. 17track gives me the most information. The last tracking update is from 8:46pm in Nanjing. It says "南京市, 离开南京市 发往旧金山" which translates to "Nanjing, leaving Nanjing to San Francisco".....Do you think this means it has been through customs export and has left China? I am worried it hasn't left China and it won't until after the Holidays.

Any information you can give me would be wonderful! Thank you

1. This is what I found for you:
International Mail# EA236569678CN Tracking Result

Summary
Tracking number Origin Destination Status
EA236569678CN CHINA UNITED STATES On route
History Detail
Local date/time Activity Location Remarks
24-Sep-2016 17:25 Received by Post Office 210005
25-Sep-2016 20:11 Item returned from export Customs/Security NANJING EMS
25-Sep-2016 20:30 Departure export customs NANJING EMS

2. So from the above tracking your parcel is On Route to USA, now it's up to US Customs and USPS to make their job right. Meaning receiving the parcel and treating it in a fast manners.

3. Your parcel is this format:
The number starts with “E” and ends with “CN”, i.e. EE123456789CN, EA987654321CN
This is China Post Express Post Service(EMS). Normally it is much faster than airmail and might take one to four weeks to arrive. The price is also much higher than airmail.

4. I would not be surprise if you see some movement this week on USPS site for your parcel. Your parcel is fine I could not see anything wrong with it according to the tracking I have done.

Hope this help.

I have another question/concern..

I talk to the seller of my parcel and he indicated that he thought the parcel isn't moving because of the current Holidays in China.

Do you think this is possible? I am really confused about this because when tracking on USPS, the last update from Sep 25th says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment". But when I translate what I get from EMS, it says "Nanjing, leaving Nanjing to San Franciso".

These are mixed messages. Which one is likely accurate? And does "leaving Nanjing" mean that it HAS left China or is simply "going to leave"? I thought that if it had indeed left, USPS would say for sure that it departed.

What do you think? Has it left China for sure? Or could it be sitting there waiting until the Holiday week is over?

1. The holiday in China started officially on the 1 Oct, lot of places gave their employees Friday Off. Your parcel was ready for departure on the 25 Sep according to this tracking and going to San Francisco:

Number: EA236569678CN
Package Status: In Transit
Destination Country: United States
2016-09-25 20:30 CHINA, NANJING EMS, Processed Through Facility, Your item has been processed through a facility in NANJING EMS, CHINA at 8:30 pm on September 25, 2016.
2016-09-25 13:55 Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
2016-09-25 13:55 CHINA, Processed Through Facility
2016-09-24 17:25 CHINA, Acceptance
Origin Country: China
2016-09-25 20:46 Nanjing, leaving Nanjing to San Francisco
2016-09-24 17:25 Nanjing, Nanjing has been received (the embrace cast member name: Chen Bo, Tel: 18305179609)

2. So if you ask me if your parcel made it before the holiday, yes it did because your parcel is Priority Mail Express International™. Am I sure of that at 100%, the answer is no because we don't have a flight number.

3. Now is your parcel in USA, I suspect strongly it's in USA and has not gone through US Customs as of now. What I don't know is the work load in San Francisco but I suspect like I said earlier in the other post, that you should see some movement of your parcel on USPS this week.

4. If I did not guess right, then your seller has the right story for you, your parcel is block in China until the National holiday is finish and you should receive your parcel in 2 to 3 weeks from now.

Hope this help.
