I just called them and they have explained me the procedure.

That's correct, next scan will be made by MexPost, and that scan will contain the information of the package's flight. Then the package will go through the Customs office and after that MexPost will have it.

Also, they told me that as far as they know, the package has not left China.

1. The last tracking of 17 track shows this:
2016-08-25 16:48 Beijing, shipment

2. And China Post show this:
2016-08-25 16:48:00.0 Beijing departure

3. Maybe China Post did not advise the Mexico Post that the parcel has departed China for Mexico.

1. I almost forgot thanks for the information about Mexico Post and how they work when a parcel arrive there. It will be useful when a person ask a question about Mexico Post.

Maybe that was the case, because the last update the Mexican Post shows it's from August 13th.
