Hi the latest information I got is that the parcel has shipped from China to destination in Canada. Then I cannot find anymore information.
Tracking number is
RO153486009CN

RO153486009CN was just shipped from china to canada. normally such airmail parcel to canada is very slow. you might need wait 4 to 8 weeks to get this parcel in Canada. please be patient.

Ok so it’s legitimate tracking number then? Will they notify me or send a different tracking number once in Canada?

Also when will I be able to start tracking the parcel? Do I have to wait until Canada Post has processed it? Thanks

Unfortunately Canada Post does not scan and update this kind of China Post airmail parcel. You won't see any update in China Post website in future. You can not track such china post airmail parcel in Canada Post website.

If your buyer protection is expiring and your parcel does not show up in your mailbox, you need open dispute to seller for refund. Otherwise keep waiting.

Next time please use China Post ePacket(tracking number starting with L not R) to ship goods to Canada. It is slightly more expensive than airmail, but much faster and reliable than airmail parcel. Most important, you can track China Post ePacket number in Canada Post website for detailed location and status in Canada.

Is there anyway I can somehow find out the status and estimated delivery time without using the tracking number from China J

Also epacket tracking with letter L was not an option available to select from seller only the R letter option.

As I mentioned before, your parcel is china post register airmail which is not good for Canada receiver. You can not know its status after the parcel left China because none scan it anymore. Next time please use ePacket to ship goods from China to Canada.

Unfortunately that option was not available to select for vendor only one option was available and that’s the one starting with letter R
