Good day

I would like to inquire where my package is? The information from parcel monitor notified me that it has been at customs since the 12th of September, all it says is '[Guangzhou] Import Customs Retained for Inspection'. Can I please get any other information about my package? The client purchased it off eBay and I sent it from South Africa

EE022869345ZA arrived Guangzhou customs on Sep 12. It seems to have customs clearance problem. You need ask receiver call china post hotline 11183 and try to pickup the parcel, some duty might need to be paid.

I am not sure whats going on but the response I got from the client is that the instructions for filling out the customs declaration form are not clear enough and he cannot clear it through customs? Will the package be returned to me because the client does not understand the customs form?

Normally if none pickup the parcel from customs , it will be returned to shipper in 2 months.

So far the parcel is still in Guangzhou customs. You'd better ask receiver go to customs to pickup the parcel. China Post will not change tracking number if it is returned. you can use same tracking number to track return parcel.

I have spoken to eBay about this buyer not contacting customs, do you have any documentation you can provide to prove it has arrived?
