Post Seller Gave Me Old Tracking Number?

Hi all,

Amazon.ca marketplace seller gave me this tracking number: RI104111866CN when I go to track it, it shows up as an old package from 2015.

Is he trying to scam me? What is the reason behind using an old tracking number?

Any insight would be much appreciated.

1. Maybe it was an honest mistake of his part when entering the tracking number into your account at Amazon.ca. Have you contacted the seller to tell him that the tracking number is from 2015.

2. If you feel that the answer that he will give you is not acceptable, then open a dispute to get your money back.

Thanks for your quick help. I will try to contact him soon... the package was shipped yesterday, so it hasn't been 48 hours yet.

But, I did pay extra for express shipping.. the package should arrive by Monday, June 13th...

2. When he will give you the right number you can see what it will be.
