I ordered a hand watch from aliexpress on 05/09, I looked up the tracking information for the order on this site and this information comes up. what does it mean?

RG165059776CN was just shipped, you need wait about 2 to 3 weeks to get the goods. When parcel enters into USA, you will see new status in http://track-chinapost.com/startusa.php

it says [departure export customs BEIJING] does that mean the goods have left china?

it just mean the parcel passed customs check. it might have left china, might just stay in airline warehouse lining up for shipping space.
