Hi! Waiting for a parcel from China, via postnl.post
tracking has been stuck for 4 days now in 'item is pre-adviced' status. Few questions:
1) How does it work? is item still to be handed over to nlpost (in China? from Chinapost?)
2) Do you believe that China new year 'blackout' period (12-20 Feb?) will inject some additional 10 days delay?
3) When it arrives in Italy, will signature be required?
4) Do I have any hope to receive it by end of month? (got tracking number on 05 Feb)

first, RS220838385NL is Dutch post tracking number, NOT china post parcel number.

some seller ship battery item through Dutch Post agent in China. Those agents has nothing to do with China Post.

The parcel will take 2 steps to reach final recipient.
First stage , those agents collect parcels from china, assign Dutch Post tracking number to these parcels, then ship them to Netherlands.
Second stage: after the parcel arrives Netherlands, it will transit again to other countries through dutch post.

The delivery speed all depends on the processing speed of agents and Netherlands Post. Normally it will take about 30 to 60 days from china shipper to final receiver.
