Hi,

A seller has gave me this tracking number: RD285855238CN and i'm getting the:

China Post has not received parcel#

Is this a legit tracking number? Should I dispute a claim in PayPal or wait a few more days?

your seller did not ship the goods. You may contact seller and ask for REAL shipment date. If seller can not give you reasonable answer, then open a dispute to paypal.

He only gave me the tracking number yesterday.

Should I wait one more day or is it definitely a fake tracking number?

many software can print shipping label with china post tracking number on it. If seller put the tracking number label on the parcel and send it to china post, the tracking number becomes valid and can be tracked in http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php within 48 hours.

Your seller has not sent the parcel to China Post yet. Not sure he will send or not. So you should ask seller what is the REAL date he shipped or plan to ship the goods. if he does not response your question, then you should open a dispute.
