Hello,

I have three packages and I don't know where are they. Still In Shanghai, in a boat or a plane ? I have no idea. Could you help me please ? Thanks

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows these 3 parcels were shipped in Oct.

such CP***CN parcel is called China Post air/sea combined parcel. If your parcel weight is over 2kgs, it has much higher chance to transit through sea vessel in next stage and make the whole journey very very slow. If less than 2kgs, normally such parcel will travel 4 to 8 weeks to reach france.

Above parcel was shipped on Oct 8 from shanghai, just arrived France on Nov 18.

What is your parcel weight?

About 7kg. Does it mean the parcel is still in Shanghai waiting for boat or is the parcel already on the boat ? If it is in Shanghai waiting the vessel, it's too long now. I'm afraid that my parcel are lost.

After "Handed over to Forwarding Agent for Transit", it shows "transiting via the transit airport"... for your example parcel. But for my parcels, we can see nothing after ""Handed over to Forwarding Agent for Transit". OMG, does it mean it's still in Shanghai? One month to wait a boat ?

each parcel 7 kgs or 3 parcel total 7kgs?

If each parcel is 7 kgs, it will go to sea and very slow. You might need wait 3 months to half year to get next update.

It depends on the way the sender chose, not about the weight. Both options accept parcels until 30 kg. If it shows the parcel is transiting via the airport, it means it is not sent by sea. Here is a dispatch note from china post, look at the "category of parcel", the sender can choose any one of them and pay different prices. You will not see it from the tracking information.

7kg each parcel. I chose sea parcel.

Most of my parcel took 2months to go to France before the covid.

But what I don't understand is where is my parcel exactly ? In Shanghai ?

you can not know where are these parcel now. After they left China, nobody scan their status anymore(their status look as if they are still stuck in its last location in China). Next update will be after parcels arrive destination country and scanned by Post system .

But for the sea parcel, it's already one month after and there is no udapte. This is really strange

Do you have a link number of a sea parcel to check the process ? Thanks

"Handed over to Forwarding Agent for Transit" are same location as " Received by the carrier" which means the parcel is still in China.
