Hi,

I sent a parcel from Shanghai to New Zealand with ems on 3 October. It still hasn't arrived and appears to still be in Shanghai.

Number is EE012748325CN.

We have been advised that the tracking number has now been changed to EA195053030CN but we don't know this is definite or why this has happened.

Through translators, we have had conversations with China Post but can't understand why it hasn't sent, if it will be sent or when!

Just contains clothes and a blanket.

4. It seems that the parcel first time did not pass the Customs for whatever reason. They sent back the parcel. They attempted delivery but fail because:
Reasons for unsuccessful delivery：Addressee cannot be located and another tracking said no such person.

5. Then a new number appear, again why I don't know, maybe a good China Post employees. Then the parcel was mail and is On Route to you.

Hope the explanation make sense.

Thank you so much for your reply.

It does appear it has been in transit for a month now (from October 23). This seems like a long time. When would you expect the package to arrive in New Zealand?

Also, what are our next best steps to ensure the package doesn't get stopped by customs or sent back to China?

1. You could call China Post EMS Hot Line 11183 about your parcel to ask them what is happening.

2. The question about Customs, I can not help you there, maybe a China Post Office could help you.
