hello, I have bought a few bicycle items that were from a individual seller on instagram who goes by rarebikes. I have tracking number, but the package has been in shanghai for the past 3 months. how will it most likely reach me, through air or sea?

recently checked on package through this websites china tracking, and says package ended up in Guangzhou, why would it be here?

You must be scammed. China Post normally doesn't accept parcel over 2kgs. Your bike weight must > 2kgs right? You should be cautious of fraud.

I'm not sure, I had ordered few items at high price. bicycle rims, bottom bracket, seat, and handlebars. are there any exporting sites in guangzhou? I had thought the seller wouldn't scam because of his well built page of followers and numerous items he puts up for sale. is there any chance that the package is stuck in china?

You need answer following questions:

What is your tracking number?

Is the item you ordered very heavy(>2kgs)?

Did you purchased from a website which has no company name, no company address, no phone number and only contact method is just an email or even just a web form?

Did you purchase a very expensive item but sold at a much lower than market price?

We can help you to analysis if it is a scam based on your answer.

the tracking number is CY003613095CN

I will say yes, it is heavier than 2kgs...

I ordered through paypal as transaction

I only have email of person on paypal

No, they were not much lower than market price at all.

CY003613095CN is called China Post SAL parcel. If its weight > 2kgs, it will go through sea and very slow (3 to 6 months from China to USA).

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=CY003613095CN shows the item was shipped from Shanghai port on Oct 21 and then transit to Guangzhou port on Dec 3. It is now on a ocean ship from China to USA. You still need wait a couple of months to get this item.

Where do you think most likely the shipment will be imported to through the U.S., if I am located in texas?
