According to the Stats here http://track-chinapost.com/?p=976 it takes about 53 days to arrive UK. Your package was received by China post on May 8 and seems it is within the normal waiting time.

It has been over that waiting period now and my order still hasn't been updated,

LZ074643943CN was received by China Post on May.05. It has been handed over to airlines on May.11 and no updates since then.
according to http://track-chinapost.com/?p=976. On average it takes about 47 days to arrive UK, but the Maximum Arrival Time should be 113 days. LZ074643943CN is slower than average,It is wise to watch for your buyer protection period and ask for an extension if it is running out soon, or open dispute for a refund
