I called 11183 and 11185 many times to inquire about my parcel stuck in Beijing since April 21st, and they told me it's at Beijing International Mail Processing center (北京国际邮件处理中心), but they couldn't give me any information how to contact them saying "they are not allowed to give me their phone numbers" or that "北京国际邮件处理中心 has no phone numbers" or that "they can not track it because it's at 北京国际邮件处理中心"

Nederland Post can not continue the investigation for the same reason: they can not get any answer from Beijing International Mail processing Centers, because apparently they have no any contact such as emails or phone numbers. If TNT contacts China Post, then China Post can not provide them any information because it must be 北京国际邮件处理中心 to provide information to TNT, but TNT has no ways to contact 北京国际邮件处理中心

What to do?

I know my parcel is there at 北京国际邮件处理中心 since (or was there until) April 21st. I made almost a hundred phone calls to China Post, 11185, 11183, went directly to China International Post Office in Beijing (from Fuzhou), called China Post again, called 11183 and 11185 again and again and again, many times, but no one can still give me a bit of information about my parcel.

My parcel doesn't contain any batteries or dangerous articles. It contains only postcards, old tickets, old coupons and old stamps. I can't see why it should have been blocked at the Customs. These items are not forbidden in China. I regularly receive them every month, and so far I have already received about other 30 parcels containing the same items, and they have never been lost or blocked. I received such items just yesterday, so there is no any problem with them at the Security Check.

Only this time, that I had my parcel insured for 5500 Euro (the previous 30 times I NEVER insured them), my parcel got blocked, and possibly, lost.

Shipping number is CC041311170NL, from Holland, insured for 5500 Euro.

If your problem can not be solved by calling 11185 or 11183, then you have to use other irregular method to find the parcel.

It seems that you are in Fuzhou. You should try to find some Chinese friend who has relative,friend or whatever GUANXI in China Post. Ask him/her to contact China Post Beijing office international shipping department about your parcel, tell them that the parcel is very very important to you, you can even exaggerate that this parcel might cause someone losing job , bankrupt,or even death, anyway, as impressive as possible.

If you can not find such friend in China Post, you can go to China Post Fuzhou office by yourself and tell them your want see their leader for an important issue. I know this is very difficult for regular chines people. But if you have a foreigner's face, and insist to see their leader , sometimes you will win.

If you get some powerful person involved into this case, you will find the parcel from any corner in China Post or customs warehouse. I know many western people might feel uncomfortable to such Chinese way , but it deserves a try.

Next time, don't ship such important item with economic register airmail. You should use DHL,TNT or Express Mail with signature.

Anyway, the parcel was originally shipped by TNT Holland. TNT Holland works in partnership with Nederland Post, and yes, it has signature.

TNT and Dutch Post maybe have partnership. As far as I know, TNT has a courier service whose tracking number is full of numeric digits without alphabet letters . You should use TNT courier service and avoid register mail service whose tracking number ending with NL.
