I've been ordering items on Ebay from China sellers and never receive them. The seller always give me an ePacket shipping number, but it never shows up on China Post tracking. After about a month I contact them and they always tell me the item must have been seized by customs and offer me a refund. My question is: When a package is mailed in China, does it first go to customs or does it first go to China Post where it is scanned and entered into China Post and then later goes to customs? Wouldn't my items appear on China Post tracking at some point if they were real tracking numbers? Thanks.

I have tried to track in China Post ALL of my orders. They never show up there. Read my question again. Here in the USA when I send a package, it shows up on the USPS tracking as accepted or received by the USPS. None of my orders ever show up on any tracking as being received. When I later ask the seller about it, they say "Sorry Friend, customs take your shipment, I give you refund now". This is from several different sellers. How does shipping in China work? Does your package go to China Post first and later to customs and then on a plane to destination or do you send package first to customs then to China Post and then to destination?
