I suggested to someone (in England) that they purchase something from Aliexpress as a present for my partner.

They have places the order and the NZPost website shows the status as "Picked Up".
Checking the status here it shows "Posted"

This status is dated 08-Apr-2015.

If I look on http://www.track-chinapost.com/ there are other updates including on from April 14 that shows "Hangzhou, shipment"

Can I tell if this has left China? It's a bit more of a worry in that the seller who had good feedback going back 2 years no longer has any products listed.

status freezing in china for 2 to 4 weeks is common. it does not mean the parcel has any problem. read this http://track-chinapost.com/?p=669

I'm not 100% sure but think it's miniature saw blades, a diamond disc and other attachments for a Dremel. I would have thought they were okay.

You can do nothing but waiting. if you have paid over 30 days and have not got the goods, open dispute for non-receive order.

The parcel apparently arrived in NZ yesterday so it looks good.
