Should I be worried with no new scans since 1-26-16? The tracking number is LS523601280CN. I was hoping to have the package by now.

it could be delayed by chinese new year. I suggest you wait one more week and track again in http://track-chinapost.com/startusa.php . If it does not arrive USA by Mar 1st, you should open dispute to aliexpress.

Well the last scan says the origin post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece so is it still in Guangzhou? Is there anyway for you to find out if it is still there?

based on my experience, it should be still in Guangzhou.
