Please provide status on LT496509986CN

Please could you help me. I posted a parcel to my son Chongquin on 24 June 2016, it arrived in Beijing was on 3/7/2016. I was told it was detained at customs, but tracking shows it was cleared ages ago. Where is the parcel now. My son has been waiting for 5 months already. He is chronic asthmatic and needed the medication I sent from our doctor in Port Elizabeth South Africa. He is in possession of the letter. Please could you help us find the parcel. The tracking number CN002 999 412ZA. He is unable to speak Madarin as he is over there teaching English in China. He has nobody to help or interpret as his agent just seems to have disappeared or is not answering his emails and requests.

Alright I will contact him on friday then. It's still showing up as not found. Part of the reason i was wondering is cause the post here from the site

Why tracking results shows ” invalid” or “China Post has not received the parcel”?

says i should be able to track it after 48 hours.

1. The last tracking of your parcel is this:

Shanghai and from Shanghai to Helsinki (transfer)

2. Everything is fine with your parcel. It need only to be scan by Finland Post on arrival or when they have time to do it. After that to Customs for clearance.

3. If you don't see any activity it's because nobody scan your parcel but this does not mean that your parcel was not moving.

4. Dispute E Bay. You should ask the question at E Bay or maybe in your order account on E Bay you will have the answer.

5. Also please take note of this:
format 3: the number starts with “E” and ends with “CN”, i.e. EE123456789CN, EA987654321CN
This is China Post Express Post Service (EMS). Normally it is much faster than airmail and might take one to four weeks to arrive. The price is also much higher than airmail.

6. May I also say to you that this time of year is the most busiest time for any Post Office in the World, so mail is slow.
