Hi. I got an order from about the same date, more specifically 23:rd and I haven't seen any updates lately.
LX544045168CN is my tracking number. Last post was this:
" 2017.10.25 18:08 (GMT-7): Despatch from Sorting Center
2017.10.24 00:20 (GMT-7): Despatch from Sorting Center
2017.10.23 14:21 (GMT-7): Posting"
This is from Ali Express's order tracking page.
What annoys me is the lack of information along the way.
All personnel involved with parcel handling should be whipped if they don't register every single parcel!
I don't know how these are handled, but I would imagine it's by bar code, and this might be time consuming if done by hand, however, they work there (Not for free!) and they should do their jobs, or seek employment elsewhere in my opinion!
Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind I think I can recollect having seen automated sorting robots doing this, while supervised by personnel, so that would not be any trouble.
I might, however be a problem if the shipping companies don't have a common interface, meaning the actual software. This should be remedied by forcing a universal standard for such handling.
Also, the tracking numbers should also then be trackable by every tracker around the world!
Right now, since I placed a rather big order of 26 items on Ali, I have to resort to 4-5 different trackers, and one I recall told me to use another tracker since that parcel was in transit and had reached it's partial destination and on it's way to the destination country.
Confusing.
Also, if/when a global standard were ever made, there should be templates in english since these Chinese translation programs really suck at what they're suppose to do.
The grammar is totally out the window, and the choices of words are horrendous!
But, I guess this is too much to hope for.
Anyway, I'm greatful for any information about my parcel
