Post Unsuccesful delivery,what next?

I mailed back a faulty product with tracking no RE429106539GR and it shows that delivery was unsuccesfull,what this means and what China post can do to deliver it?
I have paid extra to receive delivery signature and not lose the parcel

Contact the receiver to pick up the parcel. In general, it's not a good idea to return items to China, they might get refused by customs, or post office due to English address. you have to write address in Chinese language. All else failing, you have to open a dispute with the company or Paypal.
