The status of my parcel, which was sent out from Shanghai to the UK on the 11th Dec 2015, has not been updated for about 2 weeks- it seems it is missing- I also sent another parcel to the UK at the same time, which has alreay been delievered. Whom should I contact should it be missing in the worst case scenario?

cp309575583cn is surface parcel which is very slow. it might take a couple of months to reach UK. now is too early to say it is lost.

If you can not get it after 2 months, you may contact the original china post office in person. But frankly speaking, few people can get any result or compensation. Normally I don't suggest people to use such cheap surface mail to ship goods. It is slow and easy to loss and difficult to claim compensation.

Thanks for the quick reply but it is very strange, because the staff at the post office said it would take less than 10 days, and the other parcel i sent using exactly the same option (by air btw) is already delivered.

occasionally surface parcel might go through air, so you are luck to get one of your surface parcel earlier.
