Post Wheres my parcel?

Hi there,

I had two packages sent to me in Melbourne, Australia from China.

One of those packages has already been delivered. The tracking number for this package is LX086722484CN.

Just wondering if anyone has any idea where the second parcel might be? Tracking number in question is LX069941547CN.

I don't understand why one has made it, and the other has had no updates at all...

Any help would be much appreciated!

http://track-chinapost.com/track_global.php shows the parcel LX069941547CN was just shipped 5 days ago. parcel from China to Australia can take 1 to 3 weeks. so your parcel is still in normal time frame, no need worry anything.

Thank you.

I'm just curious then - why was LX086722484CN delivered so quickly? Not that I am complaining!

Heh, it's part of the nature of the postal system. Sometimes a parcel lucks out and speeds through quickly, sometimes it...doesn't. :)

Part of the difference is that LX086722484CN left from Guangzhou, and LX069941547CN left from Shenzhen. It's possible there's a difference in available airline capacity to ANZ between the two.

By the way, it's also normal for there to be no updates for a parcel from the time it leaves China, until it arrives in Australia. During transit it's in a sealed mailbag; it can't be updated again until AusPost receives and scans it.

If you're interested in learning a bit more about how the international mail system works, these two FAQs might be of interest.

How does the international mail system work? How is mail routed from one country to another?

I can fly to China in 24 hours! Why does a package take weeks?
