I am in Australian and have brought from eBay and seller provide tracking no. 89841627162. Tracking from China Post show as below:

China Post Register Air Mail Tracking System
Parcel No.89841627162 tracking result
2017-10-19 14:16:11.0 广东珠海shipping center received
2017-10-19 14:22:27.0 广东珠海shipping center customs scan
2017-10-19 16:16:40.0 已leaving 广东珠海shipping center ，next station center

Already been almost 3 months and still didn't receive the parcel. Please help to local the most update whereabout is the parcel. Have try the tracking no. in Australian Post and no tracking record found.

A tracking number consisting all numbers like yours is the cheapest shipping method and the tracking only works inside China. After leaving China, it will be a hit or miss. If you havent received it by now you should file a refund claim already.

So it seems the parcel has actually been sent. Does it mean the parcel is lost somehow in transition. Does it happen very often with this kind of shippment from China Post? Have been using eBay and China Post a lot in the past, this is the first time with problem.

Very few parcels are actually totally lost. I feel like it's more common with these kind of untracked parcels than others, but it's hard to say for sure.
