after parcel left china, none will scan the parcel status for China post. So the parcel status will stuck at its last china location. From this point of view, your parcel should have left China.

Shipping to South Africa is slow because it will transit through many countries and the processing time in S.A customs is very long. http://track-chinapost.com/China_Post_Arrival_Time_Stat.php shows max travel time from China to S.A is 3 months.

right now, you no need do anything. If your buyer protection is expiring, you should ask seller to extend the protection. The shipping time is very long, extending protection can avoid losing of money in case of lost parcel.
