Post Parcel stuck in the sorting center in Shanghai

Hey folks,

Can someone help me to figure out what's going on with this one:

It was sent among other two parcels from Shanghai (same post office, same week). Those two made it through the customs and were successfully sent by air mail, but CP318574113CN seems to stuck in the sorting center forever. The questions are:
1. Is this situation normal or should I start to worry?
2. What will be the status of the parcel after (and if) China's customs rejects it?

This kind of parcel starting with CP is called air/sea combined parcel. It will not update its status after it left China.

CP is a very slow parcel. Normally it will arrive Russia in 4 to 6 weeks. If the parcel weight is over 2kgs, it can take up to half year to arrive.

Thing is it hasn't left China as far as I understand

What about customs rejected status? How should it look like?

customs reject should be a mistake. no need care about it.

not necessarily - my friends had such experience before. If the parcel was send by foreigner from China it can be rejected by customs if it contains something they find suspicious. In my friend's case the parcel was rejected because of shoes with lots of metallic decorations.
