Nothing sent yet using this tracking number. Once the parcel is actually mailed, the tracking number will start working within 48 hours.

Okay, thanks for your response. Can you confirm, I have valid/real tracking id?

The format of the tracking number is valid. However there's no way to know if/when your seller will actually mail you a parcel that uses it. :) The real test is having some results show up in online tracking after the parcel is sent.

OMG, I can not wait to see it displayed. BTW, is it EMS or China Post? Usually how long can it be tracked?

Sorry, if I ask so many. 😀

EMS parcel will show up in China Post tracking system as soon as shipper gives the parcel to China Post office. However, most seller will apply a tracking number from China Post but wait 2 to 3 days to restock inventory and then give the parcel to China Post office. This will cause tracking result display 2 to 3 days later than the date when seller gives the tracking to buyer.

China Post and many other countries Post company (USPS, Singapore Post,Malaysia Post etc) allow user to apply a tracking number from some selling website (ebay, aliexpress, wish etc) before shipment is effected. Shipper can print the tracking number label and stick it onto the parcel in his own office and then drop the parcel to post office. This can save a lot of time of Post office worker and therefore reduce the shipping cost.

However, many cheaters take advantage of this policy, they print a tracking number from website, gives it as shipping fake proof to buyer and but never actually drop the parcel to post office.

To detect such fake tracking number, you should track the parcel number in track-chinapost.com. If shipper really shipped the parcel, the tracking result will show real shipment date and location. Otherwise it will show no record or invalid number alert.

no shipping record means your seller has not shipped anything yet. you should be cautious of fraud.

which website did you buy from?
