Post What, when and how can I claim if a registered letter is not delivered?

Hello,

On January 2 I sent a letter by registered mail to Canada. It left Guangzhou (Transit Station export customs cleared) to Canada on January 7. One of the users of this forum has kindly found out that it arrived in Canada on March 1st. However, today is March 17 (!) and it still has not been delivered. Apparently it is not possible to track the letter (RR612463660CN) once it is within the Canada Post system. I would appreciate if someone could clarify the following for me:

1) from which point in time the letter can be considered lost?

2) what compensation can I claim for its loss?

3) What do I need to do to claim compensation?

Many thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide.

Paul

if you are still china, you can go to your original post office and file an investigation. you should have original receipt got from china post.

shipping from china to canada is very slow , your parcel is very likely to be delayed than to be lost.
