I ordered an item from China. The most recent Parcel Status says that my order is IN TRANSIT AT ORIGINAL COUNTRY as at 2017-02-14. Does that mean that my order is still in China?

I ordered an item from China.since 2 months before. i was out of country. i did not receive me product.
Track number is LM294738209CN

LM294738209CN is in Saudi Post Jeddah Central Post office. You should go to there and pickup the parcel asap. otherwise it will be returned to china.

You say the parcel is in Saudi Post Jeddah Central Post Office and the person should go and collect it in the post office. What sort of postal service is that? Do they not deliver to the address of the person? What if this person lives a few hundred miles from this Post Office? I have being shopping from China over the past few years, the goods always come eventually but i find the delivery service is taking far longer than it used to take. You would think that the service would be getting better, in fact, it is getting worse.

The issues you raised are those that Saudi Post needs to address. Everyone knows the destination postal service is responsible for final delivery to the recipient. And besides that, everyone should know too that not all parcels can immediately be released to the recipient. This is still subject to destination customs clearance to ensure the goods are not contraband and also if customs duties need to be paid for the importation of the items.
