1. China post does not deliver the parcel in Austria, China Post will bring your parcel to Austria, the Austria Post will put the parcel into the Inbound area until a Customs Officer inspect the parcel and give it a OK for entry in Austria.
2. Then your parcel is taken charge by Austria Post for delivery, that is why I told you in the other post if Austria was delivering mail to an address in Austria or only in P.O. Box.
3. China Post has no more responsibility as soon as the Austria Post take the parcel in charge for delivery.
4. When you buy from Ali Express always try to get the parcel sent by Registered Mail, this way the parcel can be track. And if for any reason it gets loss, the seller can always ask China Post for an investigation and you will get your money back.
5. I have bought many items in China on Ali Express and when I had a snag with a parcel (only happen 2 times) i always open a dispute and got my money back. the only thing you have to remember is to have your buyer Protection active on the parcel.
6. China Post Registered Mail will have to be sign for, so if they can not deliver to your address most Post Office in the World will leave you a card saying that your parcel can be pick up in a certain Post Office and you will have to sign for it.
7. May I suggest you read this page:
What are the stand formats of China Post tracking number? How to distinguish them?
Hope this help.
