Post Is my package lost?

I am awaiting a package with tracking RK514737236CN
The tracking proceeded fine at first, and the parcel eventually reached and left Shanghai on 26th August 2016, but since then there have been no updates, and parcel cannot be tracked yet on destination country postal service tracking, and has not been delivered.
The most recent update was "leaving Shanghai Int'l Airport going to next airport/seaport" on 26/8/16 which is 7 weeks with no progress.
This website's advice for maximum estimated time to delivery is 40 days, but my experience has always been that it is usually much faster.
Does this mean the parcel is lost?

1. I have track your parcel on different sites and come to the same tracking as you. I was not able to track your parcel on Royal Mail site. Either your parcel was lost or misplace.

2. You should contact seller as soon as possible to tell him you have not receive your parcel. Your parcel has been on the road for 52 days. Hope that you still have buyer protection if you choose to open a dispute.

Thank you for your help and advice int077.
It is very useful to have someone else also try the tracking, with the same result, and reach the same conclusion as me, so I can stop wondering what happened to the parcel!
The package was a gift, so fortunately there is no dispute, but it is a pity that it is lost.
Maybe, who knows, it may just turn up one day, long after I stopped thinking about it!

1. The sender of the parcel could ask China Post to do an investigation about the parcel because it was a register parcel. So if it was going to be deliver to you, you had to sign for it.

Hello my package is same as yours.. check it: RF339413876CN .. Says "leaving Shanghai Int'l Airport going to next airport/seaport" Unfortunately something happenning in that station. 45 days and i havent received yet..

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows RF339413876CN just arrived Istanbul. You will get it very soon.

1. Your tracking number is a valid tracking number. If you just got the number, sometimes you need to wait up to 10 days before you can track a number.

2. If after 10 days you still can not track your parcel, then contact seller and ask him if he did physically mail the parcel. If you don't have any response from the seller, then open a dispute to get your money back.
