Post Procedure of damaged goods

Hi, I have returned a item to seller in Shenzhen,China. Seller has claim that the item received is damaged. He then show a piece of paper writing in Chinese. May I know what is the procedure to verify if my return item is damaged ? Can anyone help me to verify the letter if it is from china post?

the letter says the item was damaged when opened. the letter is issued by local china post office.
