Cant seem to find any information on - LA501162184CN , and DHgate says the number could be invalid.

Hope to be able to get some clarity before opening a dispute.

http://track-chinapost.com/result_global.php?code=LA501162184CN shows No shipping record. This means your seller did not ship anything to you.
You should push seller to ship the goods immediately. Tell him if you can not track real shipment data in next 3 days, you will open dispute to adhgate against fraud.
