Hi. My package says it left China Post on Dec 24 2019 but nothing else has posted since. I am wondering if you can find my package and make sure it is still coming. Tracking number is LO498700907CN. Thanks

LO498700907CN is ePacket which normally will arrive Canada within 4 weeks. Your parcel has more than 80% possibility to be lost.

You need open dispute to seller for lost parcel refund.

Is an e packet a small package or envelope because my package should have been a box.

ePacket is just a service. It can be envelop ,can be package. You can know its packing type by tracking number. you need ask your seller.
