My package, EB731901383CN, was last updated almost a week ago as in Guangzhou "Handed over to Forwarding Agent for Transit." Last time this happened, I was told the package was lost. Has that happened again?

"Handed over to Forwarding Agent for Transit." means your parcel was sent to airline. It is waiting for flight space to USA , NOT lost.

It's been another two weeks, and no updates. I know what "Handed over to Forwarding Agent for Transit" is supposed to mean, but once again: this has happened before with my package EB724977302CN, and I was told that it's lost. Can you confirm for certain that my package is still coming?

Here is our logic which comes from our stat of thousands of parcels:

if an EMS parcel was shipped within 60 days, you can not say it is lost because more than 90% EMS parcels arrives between 15 to 60 days time frame.

based on above logic, EB724977302CN is more likely to be lost because it was shipped 4 months ago and has not arrived yet. But EB731901383CN is still ok because it was shipped just 3 weeks ago. We can not say it is not lost, but the lost chance is very low, at least now is too early to give such conclusion.

Yeah the usual wait time for the next update after that status is usually 1-8 weeks, when it lands and goes to customs, depending where in the world you are and a lot of other variables.
