Anyone able to give any info on this?
is it on the ocean? when will it get to my country?

CY023964039CN is an economical class SAL parcel. It was sent to carrier on Sep 20. If it is a heavy item(>2kgs), it will go through ocean and will take about 3 to 4 months to reach Canada. If it is less than 2kgs, it will go through low priority air cargo which will take about 4 to 6 weeks to reach Canada.

So basically you are saying expect this in the new year?
Do you believe this is already on a boat? What Is the best tracking site to use?
My next ' tracking' update will likely be once this lands in Canada in a couple months..?
The Dispatch note says Category of parcel Surface and 18,000 grams
Will i be able to see what boat its on?

the parcel was sent to shipping company on Sep 20. Normally it will be on board in 7 days. So you can consider it is on the way to Canada. But such surface parcel doesn't update its status during the ocean shipping period(none scan such parcel). So you can't know exactly where it is at this moment.

Once it arrives Canada, Canada Post will scan and update its latest status and location. So please wait some more time and then track it in Canada Post website with the same tracking number.

Another question, why would it take 3-4 months to make it to canada? is this to say it likley wont travel China to vancouver but some other route?

In the next post you said likley on a ship within 7 days of transfer to carrier. not sure where the rest of the time comes from.

THanks just trying to learn / understand.

Ocean parcel normally will take 3 to 4 months. It is extremely slow.
